Farmers in Dharmapuri district of Tamil Nadu allocated  187 Electric Pump Sets Under Subsidy Scheme

Dharmapuri, January 8, 2025 | ANN: The Agriculture Engineering and Implements Subsidy Scheme has allocated 187 electric pump sets, valued at ₹13.09 lakh, for farmers in Dharmapuri district, Tamil Nadu, for the current financial year. The allocation includes advanced mobile phone-operated automatic pump set controllers/remote motor operators designed specifically for agricultural use.

  Under the scheme, farmers are eligible for a 40% subsidy on the cost of the pump sets. Small and

marginal farmers, women, Adi Dravidar, and Scheduled Tribe farmers are entitled to a higher subsidy of 50%, with a maximum cap of ₹7,000.
