This year’s exhibition highlights the latest in farm technology, particularly advanced drones, modern tractors, and harvesters

Pune, 12 Dec 2024, ANN

The 33rd edition of India’s largest agricultural exhibition, KISAN, was inaugurated at the Pune International Exhibition and Convention Centre in Moshi, near Bhosari. The event, which runs from December 11 to December 15, 2024, is expected to attract over one lakh visitors. Last year, the exhibition drew 1.75 lakh attendees.

This year’s exhibition highlights the latest in farm technology, particularly advanced drones, modern tractors, and harvesters. Leading agricultural institutions and associations are also participating, promoting knowledge exchange between the industry and farmers.

Featuring over 500 participating companies, KISAN is showcasing cutting-edge products and innovative solutions in agriculture, tailored to India’s diverse agro-climatic conditions. Special pavilions are dedicated to various sectors, including agri-inputs, protected cultivation, water management, tools and implements, seeds, and planting materials, helping farmers explore their specific areas of interest.

Manufacturers from Japan, Israel, and Korea have joined, along with strong representation from Indian companies.
